Description
An exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to work for an International Military Organisation on Command and Control Information System Development based in Mons, Belgium.
Applicant must hold valid Security Clearance!
Required Skills:
a. Experience in all Lifecycle aspects of Information Systems to achieve effective system development and deployment.
b. Proven capability of converting evolving operational requirements into Information Systems requirements.
c. Extensive knowledge of System Analysis principles to direct and guide Information Systems development.
d. Software programming experience in C, C++, Unix Scripts.
e. Broad and sound technical knowledge and experience in distributed Information Systems as they are applied to the modern management information and Command and Control Information Systems to include:
1) Experience in the design and implementation of WEB based applications.
2) Experience with Administering UNIX Operating System Environments.
3) Experience in designing and administering Relational Databases.
4) Detailed knowledge of architectural design as applied to computer systems.
5) Sound technical knowledge of wide area networks and local area networks.
