DESCRIPTIONThe Software Engineer will design, develop and deploy application solutions for the company's expanding list of Fortune 500 clients using advanced speech and VoIP technologies including VoiceXML, SIP/RTP, natural language processing, and voice biometrics.
Responsibilities include:
- All aspects of application development, integration, deployment, post-deployment optimization
- Software design
- Technical requirements
- Moderate client interaction
- Developing next generation enterprise communications solutions
Primary technical skills and requirements include:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years professional programming experience in one or more of the following: Java: J2EE/JSP; Apache/Tomcat; Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, C#, VoiceXML, JavaScript
- Proven success utilizing technical skills to deliver business solutions
- Enjoys working in a dynamic, user-centric environment
- Brings an innovative and fresh perspective to challenging programming projects designed for SaaS/Cloud, traditional premise-based, and hybrid architectures.
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Speech Recognition experience with major commercial speech engines and related tools (eg, Nuance, Microsoft)
- IVR platform experience with Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, etc.
- Speech Grammar Development and Tuning - GRXML
- Experience working with telephony networks and related technologies - CTI, IVR, VoIP (SIP/RTP)
- Client interfacing and Project Management
