Description:
- The project is made up of a number of parallel tracks that need to remain connected, and be managed to optimize delivery. The Project Leader is looking for a resource who in addition to having good project management skills can manage large groups of subject matter experts globally.
- The Operating Manual has been created to govern the interactions between the company and its partners in the execution of Clinical Studies for the company. Currently two versions of this Operating Manual exist, one for early development studies, the other for full development studies.
- This engagement will require a project manager to help with:
- Merging the two different versions
- Helping to refine and implement the process for managing the Manual
- Handling requests for updates to the Manual
Qualifications:
Certified project management professional, who is able to roll up their sleeves, dive in, create a robust project management framework and schedule, and then drive the project forward. Familiar with document management systems. Proven to be a self starter with a minimum learning period who is proactive in mitigating project risk. An expert communicator and facilitator who can keep people at different levels, in multiple geographical locations, in different parts of the organization, with different agendas, aligned and moving forward in unison. PMP preferred.
Key Deliverables - Success Criteria: Deliver effective project management evidenced by 'leadership presence', visible progress, organizational awareness, and clarity of purpose within team. Create a robust and clear set of project management deliverables that are developed, maintained and managed through to completion of the project. (schedule, status reports, action log, risk log, etc.) Provide effective communication of progress, milestone achievement, risk and mitigating actions to engagement lead and/or his leadership team.
