Senior GUI Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION
The Senior GUI Software Engineer will perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems. This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems. The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter. This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows. Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop UI Software for a medical device, participate in Software/UI design activities.
• Write specifications and design documents, unit tests.
• Participate in formal design reviews.
• Assist Software test team in developing test cases and test plan.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least seven years experience in the field or related area.
• Extensive experience within the Medical Device industry.
• Self motivated individual able to work in a team environment.
• Must have eight to ten years of development User interfaces
• Strong in C#, WPF, WCF and Object Oriented and UML skills required.
• Experience with relational databases a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience with developing software for Medical Devices and in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Expression Blend experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with LLBLGenPro and NUnit.
• Image processing experience desired.
