DESCRIPTIONThe Systems Programmer Analyst will be accountable for developing SAP ABAP programs and associated software development life cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Completing all steps of the SDLC including: interpretation of functional requirements and confirming requirements with users, writing program specifications, ABAP development, and the writing, executing, and documenting unit test protocols.
- Developers may be required to assist in system, integration, performance and user acceptance testing.
- Assignments will include conversions, reports, user exits, and interfaces for both project and production support initiatives.
- Minimum of five years of experience in SAP ABAP programming with over ten plus years of IT or consulting work experience.
- Must have experience in SAP Oracle database knowledge and experience.
- Must have a good understanding of backup/restore (RMAN) and excellent SQL tuning knowledge.
- SAP Basis and/or Oracle database certification is a plus.
- Previous experience with SAP ABAP technical areas.
- Reporting (conventional and interactive), User exits, BDC and Call-Transaction, Interfaces including ALE, IDoc, and BAPI, Module Pool (on-line dialog), SAPScript and Smart-Forms, and Object Oriented ABAP.
- Must have experience with SAP v4.6C.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, the ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities, preferably familiar with GMP and validated software environments, ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be comfortable in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent training or work experience.
