Description
SAS 9.2 Platform Administration
- Adding users, registering tables, etc. using Management Console;
- Installation of client applications;
- Troubleshooting technical problems.
Data Preparation
Using Base SAS, Enterprise Guide, DI Studio and/or dfPower Studio profiling to respond to ad hoc requests using data from Oracle.
- Develop an understanding of the client's data environment. Analyze and determine what data is available and necessary to be part of reporting or data mining model(s), to include reviewing available data sources and identifying appropriate variables (existing, or to be created).
- Develop SAS programs to access data from various sources (eg, reading in data sources and producing datasets suitable for SAS analytics or reporting); this will include data preparation.
- Perhaps perform input transformation/missing value replacement/recoding.
Nice to Have (not critical): Some experience with one or more ( preferably all ) of the following:
- Predictive modelling in Enterprise Miner 6.1 (such as working with and discussing ideas with another dedicated SAS analytical subcontractor already there.)
- DataFlux
- Web Report Studio, BI Dashboard
- Deep experience in a client-facing role
- Attend daily meetings with the project team;
- Participate in smaller technical sessions;
- Assist government employees use and understand how best to use and apply SAS.
