Description

Professional IT Support Engineer required immediately by large UK company to provide Desktop Support for major Tidworth site and surrounding area for ongoing requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, configure and manage PC's, Printers, Software and Peripherals in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line technical support for all users as required.
- Ensure that all systems operate smoothly, efficiently and effectively to maintain client satisfaction.
- Provide an efficient and effective Support service to resolve user system issues.

Person Specification

- Strong PC experience.
- Excellent Windows technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of major PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suites.
- Skills in Active Directory and basic MS Exchange desirable but not essential.
- Strong customer service orientated individual with the desire to achieve results.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Uses own initiative.
- Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure.
- Awareness of emerging technologies.
- Good team player with strong inter-personnel skills.
