Description
This project requires a Project Manager to join our organisation as part of the Future Of Financial Advice Program. This is part of the planned implementation of the FOFA reforms mandated by the Federal Government for financial institutions. YOU will help build and implement FOFA compliant processes, products & events across the organisation and it will require someone who can be skilled in both compliance and implementations.
As a Senior Project manager with over 6+ years experience in managing large resource teams & delivering compliance based projects, you will effectively deliver the agreed scope within budget and to the organisations expectations with a major focus on compliance & governance within the program of work. You will have previous success in managing large teams and delivering compliance based projects.
Work of the role:
- Track and manage project compliance activities and deliverables towards agreed outcomes, and identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project compliance deliverables.
- Evaluate effectiveness of project management tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement relating to governance and compliance
- Effectively manage relationships with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.
Essential requirements:
- Wealth Management experience
- Understanding of implementing compliance measures within large organisation
- Minimum 6+ years experience project delivery
Knowledge and experience in compliance and governance based projects - Recognised project management certification is ideal
- Must have advanced understanding of Financial Services compliance.
- Sound Financial Control and reporting skills
- Understanding of FOFA legislation implemented for the banking industry is ideal.
