Description
The Anti-Virus management team ensure that the managed Anti-Virus infrastructure is kept up to date with definitions and software and dealing with any troubleshooting around the Anti-Virus product or any issues encountered around Anti-Virus management. The Anti-Virus Management service is combined with both an administrative and technical offering which deals with the management of the Anti-Virus enterprise application and responding to known malcode incidents.
The service provides 1st and 2nd level support and remediation of known malcode and aligns closely with the Threat Assessment team in regards to unknown malcode.
Technical Skills
- Must have McAfee ePO 4.x skills at an enterprise level
- Ability to apply Anti-Virus solutions/policy configurations at enterprise level
- Understanding of security postures/policies
- Security terminologies
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with Anti-Virus product
- Ability to troubleshoot and triage Anti-Virus events/incidents
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals/terminologies
- Knowledge of HIPS, Firewall, Encryption, mail, URL filtering tools and applications desirable.
- Good understanding of Intel based Operating Systems
