Market Support Executive – Maternity Cover

Lastminute.com is one of the leading leisure and travel sites in the UK. Attracting more than 1.65 million users each week, lastminute.com is the go-to site for everything from spa breaks and hotels to flights and theatre tickets. In the last twelve months we've gone from strength to strength and we're now looking for the biggest and brightest names in the industry to join our team. We're on the hunt for a new Market Support Executive to join the super-successful lastminute.com Marketing team on a Maternity Cover contract (11 Month Fixed Term Contract). Working in our busy London office you'll be responsible for giving operational and commercial support to our Market Manager, managing the price competitiveness and inventory quality of our hotel portfolio in London and tracking and monitoring sales performance via daily and weekly reports.  You'll also need to follow up on pricing issues with offending hotels, assist suppliers in loading promotions on the extranet and manage on-site content to ensure all descriptive content and images are up-to-date. The successful candidate will need to attend team meetings, bi-annual Partner Marketing conferences and organise Supplier Events in London so confidence is key - we're not looking for a shrinking violet! We need someone with a real passion for e-commerce and the web and an infectious can-do attitude. We're looking for someone who has a strong eye for detail, can work to tight deadlines and has a proven track record of working with streams of detailed information. A minimum of one year in Travel and Tourism or Business Studies related education at degree level is also essential. Contract: 11 Month Fixed Term Contract Think you tick all the boxes?
