Surveyor

Description

My Client requires a Surveyor to manage allocated capital maintenance projects, ensuring works are undertaken in a safe and professional manner. Project manage and survey building works and building services' contracts arising from the service operational plan, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, the Council's constitution, legal obligations, and project design briefs. Assist in achieving the repairs service improvement plan. Proactively identify, explore and develop capital improvements, planned maintenance projects and building services works from initiation to completion ensuring time cost and quality constraints are met. Manage the presence of asbestos in Council buildings as required by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and successive legislation. Prepare detailed project reports outlining scheme designs, options, life cycle costings and budget estimates for alterations and/or improvements to property. Produce and submit project appraisals as required. Prepare specifications and working drawings of alterations and/or improvements, maintenance programmes and repair schedules, including the regular monitoring of progress and performance to ensure completion within budget and on time, keeping your line manager updated as to progress.
