Client in the Alpharetta area is seeking a passionate, team focused and experienced QA Engineer to join their development team. As a member of the scrum team, you will be responsible for creating and executing primarily automated tests, entering and tracking defects in bug tracking system and working with the team to define and plan the tests required for each iteration.
Qualifications:
Technically focused bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and related networking protocols.
Testing of GUI applications, Java and/or Web.
Well versed in one or more Scripting language (Shell, Perl, Python, Javascript, etc)
Experience with Linux and/or Unix.
Experience with home-grown or commercial automation tools.
Experience in creating and executing test cases.
Nice-to-have skills:
Network security experience is a plus.
Experience with TDD or BDD practices.
System administration of Unix/Linux Servers.
Experience in a virtualized environment, ESX Server and VM machines.
Testing in an Agile environment.
