Premiere consulting firm in Alpharetta seeking a Java UI Developer for their growing Healthcare division. This is a contract-to-perm position working on very visible healthcare projects! You will work with a team that provides integration and data management services in the cloud! As part of the top-notch Development team, you will work on innovative initiatives related to integration, harmonization and management of healthcare systems and data. This team will enhance existing Java/J2EE application components, build new ones, and collaborate with other team members on the design and development of new applications focused in the health IT space. These individuals will be part of the development team working on fast-tracked projects, and will collaborate with product management and professional services to provide creative solutions.
Day to day you will actively participate in story workshops to gather requirements, identify technical opportunities and ultimately innovate new or enhance existing product capabilities. Design and develop product capabilities based on stories, industry specification or refactoring of existing capabilities. Incorporate quality into all aspects of the product development life cycle. Pro-actively identify ways to improve the products and our processes, and help make them the best.
Ideal candidate has 5+ years experience with Java/J2EE Web development with AJAX, JSP, Servlet, creating portal admin UI's, HTML and a Bachelor's Degree. Experience implementing role-based security features on web portal is necessary for your success. Must have experience with Web Service and digital contents exchanges over SOAP as well as experience designing web-based UI for state-enable, long-running workflow processes using Java. Any web usability experience is a huge plus and JSF is a huge plus. Must have excellent communication skills as well as solid problem solving and analytical skills.
