Description
We require 4 Test Analyst for a role based in Galway, Ireland. 6-12 month contracts.Escalate issues encountered during test planning and execution to the test lead.
Utilize existing tests and expand test coverage.
Test case development and defect management using Quality Center.
Attend weekly tactical meetings.
Provide release estimates for User Stories or requirements.
Participate in requirement and design reviews.
Conduct tests based on test schedules and on an ad hoc basis as needed.
Proactive communication related to any issues.
Closely work with the development and business team to ensure that testing needs are met.
Status reporting to management.
Build domain knowledge.
Requirements:
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years' experience with the full spectrum of functional Quality Assurance testing and systems development life cycles.
- Solid understanding of data modelling techniques.
- Working experience in Data Feed Testing.
- Experience working on many projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with Quality Center and Rational Team Concert is preferred.
- Prior experience working with remote teams.
- Experience working on projects using an Agile methodology would be an advantage.
- Proven customer and relationship management experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Test Automation is highly valued.
