Description
The OTC FX Operations team will manage all operational aspects of the service throughout the London and New York time zones. Working in a small team of 4, both shift times may be required to be worked.
The successful candidate should possess at least 3 years experience working for an Investment bank or have previous experience of OTC clearing.
A SOUND & RECENT KNOWLEDGE OF FX DERIVATIVE PRODUCTS IS A MUST, covering both vanilla and exotic Option and Forward trades.
Although this is a junior/mid level role, a candidate which possesses a greater level of aptitude to taking ownership of processes and is willing to progress quickly will be a preference.
Responsibilities
Intraday Trade Workflow Management
*Trade Flow
*Exception Management
*NDF Trade Fixing
Intraday Margin Runs and Margin Call Management
*Margin runs to establish member liabilities
*Cover distribution process to compare liabilities to assets held with the clearing house
*Oversight of Margin Calls to cover increases in liabilities.
*Regular interaction with other departments to ensure Risk is adequately covered.
Member/Client Queries
*Client service is key to a successful launch of the ForexClear service. Operations Analysts are expected to be SME's on all Operational aspects of the service and to respond to member and client queries. A professional approach must be given to all member queries.
Incident management, problem resolution and operational process
*To take the lead in ensuring that operational incidents are recorded in the operational incident management system. Ensure the resolution and tracking of all open incidents. Ensuring Joint Operating procedures and SLA's are adhered to.
*Operational procedure reviews.
*Monthly MIS production and review.
Static Data
*Management and oversight of operational static data and operational processes for -
*Counterparties
*Calendars
*Accounting structures
*Building relationships with the On boarding team
