Description
Our client is the world leading computer components brand seeking a Systems Engineer to provide programming, development and testing of SCOM MP using SCOM Authoring Console. Job includes analysis of the customer requirements and use-cases, designing of the monitoring solution to meet them, event management, and automation solutions as part of the full engineered solution. All MPs developed for SCOM needs to have unit and integration test plans and test results completed by the engineer for the quality purposes. Job requires ability to translate business requirements into a functioning management pack for an accepted monitoring solution, analytical work; providing solutions to a wide range of challenging problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Must have good understanding of how SCOM 2007 R2 functions
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into a functioning management pack for a accepted monitoring solution
- Ability to establish the various settings for discovery, classes, monitors, rules, and recovery
- In-depth knowledge of using OpsMgr Authoring Console to develop Management packs
- Medium VB Scripting knowledge
- Understanding of XML coding
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong team player
- Ability to work effectively within the global arena and in a diverse team environment
