Highly respected, high profile International organisation in the financial services sector in London requires 2 UI Developers to join a talented Agile team working to deliver a truly groundbreaking and market changing E-commerce project/e-payments project. This well funded project is due to last for 2 to 3 years and attracting some of the best Agile talent in the community.
It is essential that you have a deep understanding of Agile (Scrum) practices and principles and have a passion for creating clean, readable, behavioural driven code. As a scientific but creative person, you'll be a keen user of TDD and BDD and CI and ideally you'll be a contributor to open source Java projects/public code repositories and will be able to provide some examples of your work. You'll be joining some of the best Agile practitioners in the community and will need to share their passion and enthusiasm for Agile and be a genuinely collaborative person.
You'll be expected to be productive from day one, developing rich UI features and utilizing your considerable talent and expertise in UI Development using Spring MVC, JSP, Javascript, JSON, JQuery, HTML 5, Cucumber, Jenkins, WebSphere, Apache and Maven.
