Job description
This role has three broad areas of responsibility comprising; departmental costs, project costs and FTEs/organisational structure and encompasses the following:
1) Business partnering - comprises the traditional business partnering components of monthly reporting, planning & forecasting and customer liaison/ad hoc analysis and guidance.
2) Reporting, planning and consolidation - provides a central function for all reporting requirements to the Group Executive business partners and also to the broader Group Finance executive and community.
3) Projects - predominantly required to support business initiatives arising.
4) FTE - Maintain and report on the organisational structure, preparing and monitoring monthly cost board submissions.

Key accountabilities and core competencies are provided in more detail below but, in summary, the role largely comprises reporting and planning, business liaison and guidance, projects and ad hoc analysis for a portfolio of stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Manage consolidation of month end actuals and variance reporting with depth of analytical review and commentary to Senior Executive.
*Manage consolidation of annual budget, forecasts and medium term plans as well as latest views, including the analysis, review and challenge of business unit plans.
*Ensure best use of systems to develop 'fit for purpose' reports.
*Ad hoc financial analysis as required by business units and Group Finance.
*Coordination and monitoring of finance elements relating to procurement activity and benefits.
*Develop and demonstrate co-piloting skills, providing sound judgement and advice relating to all finance matters for.
*Monthly financial reporting and liaison with business units to ensure business performance is fully understood and insights are articulated as appropriate.
*Monthly review of FTE, preparation of organisational structure and liaison with HR for changes in organisation design.
*Support FTE planning and reporting.
*Process improvement.
