A Global Medical Solutions company based in Maidstone is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician (QA) to support the Quality Assurance Department to drive for compliance and continuous improvement and support the QA team in all quality activities related to the Quality Management System (QMS) and all day to day quality activities on site.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Compilation of QA Monthly Reports
  • Conducting QA activities including Complaint, Corrective Action/Preventive Action & Change Control management and the issuance of protocols, reports etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring 100 percent quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
  • Represents QA on teams carrying out development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency at the site.
  • Supports continuous product and process improvement through detailed failure analysis for non-conformances & customer complaints, assists in investigations to define root cause and required corrective actions (CAPA Program).
  • Supports project teams involved in new product introduction or modifications to existing products and equipment.

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

The successful candidate will either have a BSc degree with experience working within the QA industry or 4 years experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance Management, Quality Control and have worked under a Quality management System certified to ISO9001. Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry would be ideal with knowledge of fibre products, medical devices, charts and metrics.

The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated and organised and have excellent interpersonal skills.
