Quality Engineer/APQP Engineer - Automotive - Derbyshire
Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer/APQP Engineer to join an organisation that is an established first tier supplier to the automotive sector currently experiencing impressive growth. With a huge increase in workload due to their well renowned reputation within the industry and their passion for quality and customer service, this business has shown year on year growth.
This is an initial 3 - 6 month contract with likely extensions.
As the successful Quality Engineer/APQP Engineer you will;
Have an extensive background in Quality Engineering
Have Tier 1 Automotive experience or Original Equipment Manufacturer experience
APQP experience within the automotive industry.
Knowledge of TS16949.
As the successful Quality Engineer/APQP Engineer you will be responsible for:
Managing the quality planning requirements.
Developing processes and systems to improve APQP Department operation.
Define, plan and supervise the preparation of APQP supporting documentation for new projects.
Implement and develop systems for APQP, including software systems.
Management of resource/timing to gain successful, on-time product approval.
