Description
Our client is a super high-visibility computer components manufacturer seeking a Validation Engineer to be responsible for analog and electrical validation of high speed interfaces for SOC Silicon.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Developing Python based tools/scripts for control and automation
- Developing test content to stress various I/O interfaces
- Signal Integrity validation by using tools like digital oscilloscopes, BERT, etc.
- Analyzing and documenting test results
- Silicon and platform characterization
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience in validation of at least one: USB3, HDMI, PCIe, DDR
- Basic understanding of computer system architecture
- Software and Scripting experience (eg Perl, Python)
- Experience with lab equipment such as digital oscilloscopes
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with signal integrity design
- Experience with circuit design
