Highly reputable Sydney based company are looking for a Network Engineer to work as part of their Transmission Infrastructure provisioning team. As Network Engineer you will be responsible for performing mobile transmission backhaul mapping and testing to the 3G mobile network. The role has a strong emphasis on remote 2MB SDH transmission mapping and configuration testing and Ethernet mapping , configuration and testing for IP backhaul from base stations.
As Transmission/Mapping Network Engineer you will have the following experience:
Degree or associated diploma in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
Experience in telecommunications network operations/maintenance/provisioning
Experience with SDH transmission systems-provisioning and/or maintenance
Knowledge of Ethernet over SDH
Knowledge of Alcatel, Nortel and Fujitsu transmission equipment
Excellent oral and written skills
