Description
We are urgently looking for a SQL Server DBA for a 9 month contract based in Helsinki, Finland.
To be considered for the role of SQL Server DBA you will have the following:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience of administering Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later.
- Experience in using centralised database management and/or monitoring systems, preferably Microsoft Operations Centre.
- Experience in taking Microsoft SQL Server database backups, Microsoft SharePoint farm disaster recovery backups and Microsoft SharePoint granular backups.
- Experience with backup and restore system, preferably EMC Networker (7.4 or later).
- A current certification in Microsoft SQL Server, either MCTS, MCITP, MCM.
- Experience in performance tuning and health checking Microsoft SQL Server instances.
- Experience with centralised patching and management on Windows Server (version 2003 or later), eg WSUS or SCCM.
- Experience in setting up and administering a Microsoft SQL Server cluster.
