Industry leader with a patent technology is looking for an experienced Sr. Web Services Engineer - this could be a perm, contract to perm, or contract opportunity. Looking for someone to architect, develop, and guide the company in the use of innovative techniques and methodologies for implementing customer friendly web service applications. Other responsibilities include serving as the lead engineer on development projects and developing, designing, coding, testing and documenting new software programs.
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, a Master's degree would be ideal, and a minimum of three years of solid web services applications development-must have developed web service applications, not just worked on them. Proficiency in Java or Python is required and Object Oriented development is a must. A big plus would be experience with GIS and experience with wireless carrier networking technology.
