Functional Test Automaton Engineer needed for a position that starts with a 3 to 6 month contract and then converts to become permanent for a major software company having a facility in the RTP, NC area and revenues around $400 million. The Funcational Test Automation Engineer leverages an acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) approach to QA utilizing Robot Framework. Must be qualified to set up the Automation Framework and own Functional Test Automation development for each sprint. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a stellar team and work on cutting edge SaaS based analytics software products focused within the healthcare industry. The person filling this position must be proactive and possess a desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up the Functional Test Automaton Framework
- Automating Functional Test utilizing Google Robot Framework
- Develop acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) plans.
- 20% of the time is design manual testing, 80% of the time is doing Functional Automation.
- EITHER: Functional Test Automation using Fitnesse, Google Robot Framework, or Cucumber, or similar tool
- OR: Java Development and JUnit experience and a wilingness to learn the Robot Framework for Functional Test Automation
- SQL including creating Joins.
- Some of the following is preferred Python or JavaScript or PHP or PERL or similar Scripting languages
Must be able to start in the Triangle Area of NC immediately or within 2 weeks notice.
