Procurement Advisor - City Services & Infrastructure - Contract

My key client, based in the South East is urgently looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Advisor to help deliver a series of projects within the City Services & Infrastructure department on a 6 month minimum contract.

This position is crucial in supporting the Category Manager - City Services and Infrastructure (and senior management) to deliver strategic procurement activity and strategies to support their internal efficiency targets and the programme at the organisation.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in tendering and contracting within OJEU framework.
  • Experience acting as a procurement lead, with a solid history of delivering cash savings from previous projects.
  • The individual will need to have demonstrable experience in building internal client relationships.
  • They need to be credible and possess excellent influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Proven cost analysis and spending analysis skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience of Highways and Fleets is highly desirable.
