The candidate in this position will be assisting the client with Windows 7 deployment on site in Denver, Dallas, and potentially remote areas of Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, and Louisiana. S/He will receive work direction from the client and provide support throughout the various phases of the project, starting with asset inventory and tagging, deployment of new machines, system upgrades, backups, restores, implementation of network upgrades.
OVERVIEW:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Works under immediate supervision
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- A+ certification mandatory
- Deskside support skills
- Knowledge of Windows 7 and experience with large deployments preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Schedule flexibility
- Must be able to travel
- Ability to work within a team environment
- May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
