Finance Project Manager
We are currently looking to resource a Finance Project Manager to work on a General ledger Implementation
There are two phases to the migration:
1. Implementation of the core solution to replace the current UK&I SAP solution
2. Implementation/migration of the old General Ledger into the new SAP solution.
The role also involves support of :
a) management of dependencies between various group projects
b) coordination of central and Business requests for both Phase 1 & 2
Role Description.
. Responsibility for the delivery of 'local' Implementation project, in support of the UK Company project.
. Being delivered over 2 phases, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, to scope.
. Project is the replacement/introduction of all the Wealth Finance related activities in support of the new European SAP ECC & BW solution
. Applies and champions the appropriate project management discipline, ie planning, resourcing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting and risk, issue and dependency management.
. Establishes an effective project organisation structure.
. Responsible for the development and management of budget and expenditure within projects.
. Ensure the delivered project meets the needs of the business and that the agreed quality standards have been met.
Skills/Experience.
. Previous experience with proven track record of delivery in large projects/Programmes
. Accredited at Project Management discipline (practitioner level) (eg APMP, Prince2 practitioner, ISEB ) - desirable
. Expert in Project Management Disciplines and budget management
. Ability to manage and develop people effectively
. Knowledge of Finance systems/processes (SAP) in a large Financial Organisation - desirable
