SEC and a global IT Consulting Company are working together in the search and selection for a Continuous Integration and SW Quality Expert for an international project in Alicante.
You will be ultimately responsible for all aspects of the software build and deployment process, including configuration and distributing release artefacts; alongside your main responsibilities you will be expected to review the current processes and propose improvements.
This is a contract opportunity. Initially it is a 7 months contract finishing by the end of 2012; (with strong possibility of extension). In the long term will be an opportunity for you to continue in the project within the Architecture department.
Your main responsibilities will be:
-You will work closely to the development, Architecture, QA and Infrastructure teams.
-Contributing to the strategy and vision of continuous integration and delivery and owning the implementation.
-Continuous improvement & automation of the build & deployment processes and strategies.
-Owning and managing the Development environment
-Developing/maintaining build & deployment scripts
-Managing source control, continuous integration server
-Supporting defect/issue tracking tools
-Supporting Agile development tools
You should be compliant with the following profile:
-Hands on experience in managing and administering SCM systems
-Perfect understanding in different branching and tagging strategies
-Hands-on experience with Ant and Maven
-Several experiences setting and administering a Continuous Integration and delivery environment
-Scripting
-Java
-Application Server knowledge
-Experience as application administrator for the Attlassian Suite
-Build and configuration management role.
