Our leading Insurance client, based in Edinburgh, is looking to bring on board an experience Operational Risk Analyst to join their team for a four month initial contract, with excellent long term renewal prospects.
Applicants applying for this job should be able to demonstrate strong practical knowledge of Operational Risk Management.
Specifically we're looking for candidates who have experience with:
* Recent working experience of compliance, risk and audit processes.
* Excellent, up to date, knowledge of the regulatory body requirements, FSA.
* Broad risk knowledge.
* Analytical skills, the ability to analyse and interpret large amount of data.
* Strong reporting & documentation skills.
This is very much a hands-on role; we're not looking for a candidate with theoretical knowledge of. We're looking for an individual with hands on, practical Analytical and Risk experience who will be able to hit the ground running on this project.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Risk Analyst background Risk within the Insurance sector. Any candidates with experience with Solvency II should know this would be seen as very desirable for this position. Applicants, who have a financial services background with SOX or Basel risk compliance, will also be considered for this position.
