Description
Our customer has a large volume of user documentation comprising service descriptions and technical reference manuals. An editor is required to ensure consistency of the document deliverables across the project.
Required skills:
- Experienced editor
- Good, solid technical author skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word: ability to work with and develop templates
- Have experience of defining and ensuring adherence to style, format and grammar rules
- Have great attention to detail
- PDF and Acrobat experience
- Must be self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative with little or no daily supervision
- Able to provide leadership and guidance to a team of experienced technical authors
- Experience of, and application of, defined terms
- Be approachable and proactive in resolving issues and problems during the editing process
