Our client, a leading financial organisation is looking for an Oracle Financials Support Consultant. You will be part of the Finance Support team and will establish Business System ownership on the Oracle Financial system. You will also facilitate the move to common Business Processes. Team objectives are to ensure system ownership, monitor and control the flows between the different systems and interfaces in Oracle. You will also provide functional support to end users and be a central point of contact between the business and technical teams.

Further responsibilities of Oracle Financials Support Consultant include maintaining Master Data of Oracle and providing Common Guidance on Financial processes. You will need expertise in Oracle R12 - AP, AR, Procurement, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, GL, AGIS, eBtax, iExpenses. Oracle Discover and Cognos for reporting. You will perform analysis, testing and set up of enhancement requests and set up new currency/company or migration of a company to Oracle, extended support Oracle patches, set up new process for facilities fixed assets. You will also provide support to end-users and ensure best practices, monitor the interfaces, administer the accesses, control the notification flows, develop ad-hoc queries using SQL (Toad tool) and solve issues and questions received by ESD tickets (300 tickets per month).

Oracle Financials Support Consultant skills required:

- Accountancy qualification
- Experience with Oracle GL, AR, AP, Cash Management, eBtax, AGIS and Procurement
- APRO knowledge (advantageous)
- Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
- Team player
- Fluent in English, and ideally French or Dutch also
