SAP Release Manager - Belgium (Brussels)
The release manager is responsible for achieving the targets that put his release by the 'Release Board'.
He/She is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the various teams that release targets and realize benefits. A knowledge of the technical and functional areas of SAP is essential to the organization to understand and improve.
Responsibilities of the release manager are:
- To support and advise the business and the demand manager according to the definition of the scope of the releases;
- Determining the functional and technical scope and let him out by all stakeholders;
- Communicating the objectives of the release of all stakeholders;
- Encouraging and monitoring the ratings for the various changes and prepare a detailed plan for the MSP deliverables of the releases for all the teams;
- Assessment of the impact of the amendments to the existing SAP solutions;
- Setting up and monitoring of KPIs (key performance indicators) of Release Management;
- Propose a fair reporting to management;
- Facilitate communication between the functional teams, technical teams, Release Board and other departments;
- Management of all daily operations in accordance with the methodologies and procedures and especially the quality checks that have been set for our projects;
- Organize and track release tests;
- Prepare and follow a detailed cut-over plan in the context of new releases.

- SAP HR functional knowledge
- SAP NetWeaver technical affinity
- MSP knowledge
- Good knowledge of ITIL and Prince2 knowledge
