IT Infrastructure Project Manager
My client, within the financial industry, is actively searching for an IT Project Manager with experience in leading projects in a large organization.
Objective: To take the lead and deliver simultaneously several technical infrastructure projects.
Be the motivating force behind the project team, accurate reporting and communication will also be required.
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below:
Required level and content of education
University graduate or equivalent.
Personal skills
Mandatory:
- Strong ability to structure the execution of project and teamwork where team members are in a functional line rather than a hierarchical line.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- High degree of autonomy and pro-activeness.
On the level of IT Technicians until IT management.
- Flexible in travelling throughout Europe.
Business experience required
Mandatory:
- 5 -10 years of professional experience in a large IT organization.
- proven ability to effectively work and report on notions such as Budget, Actuals, ETCs, EAC.
Technical experience required
Mandatory: Experience in one or more technical IT platforms, such as Mainframe, Window,Security, Network.
Functional experience required
Mandatory:
- Project Management
- Project Mgt methodology
- Large and complex projects.
Preferable:
- Prince 2 (or equivalent)
- International environment.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with possible extension(s).
Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch.
