Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks an Application Developer. The candidate will work closely with project teams across the Enterprise to deliver value in Performance Engineering as it relates to application development, infrastructure and SLA's.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Help identify and solve any current performance related problems associated with application design, database design or infrastructure.
Work with various teams to make Performance Engineering a mind set early in the SDLC.
Assist in creating service level agreements and devising metrics to measure and correct deficiencies.
Take an active role in mentoring team members in adoption and use of Performance practices.
Serve as the primary performance SME in large scale enterprise-wide performance initiatives.
Develop and maintain performance guidelines and strategy for enterprise.
Concentrate on the process and use of related IT tools to detect, diagnose, Remedy and report on the performance of applications to ensure that defined operating targets and business expectations are met or exceeded.
Identifying Performance integration opportunities specifically around reporting, alerting, dashboards, SLA measurement, external framework integration, etc.
Assist clients with troubleshooting and performance tuning of their Java and/or.NET applications code, architecture, best practices, etc.
Required Skills/Competencies:
Experience in large scale enterprise architecture/frameworks including software, hardware, system and security architecture.
Knowledge of web services technologies and experience with service-oriented architectures.
Specific experience in Performance Engineering related to both applications and infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience as a Performance SME in large Enterprise setting.
Experience developing performance guidelines, strategies and best practices.
Thorough knowledge of the SDLC.
Experience with several APM tools. Experience with Hyperformix/BMC/DynaTrace APM tools preferred. Ability to work with diverse teams from executives to users.
Clear, precise verbal and written communications required.
Looking for a rounded Technical Architect with an emphasis on performance modelling.
Hyperformix is a HUGE plus.
Must understand distributed technical architecture.
