Role: MI Analyst
Skills: MI Analyst - Retail Banking - Excel - Access
Overview:
Our client, a major UK retail bank, require the services of a MI Analyst. This role is part of the ePayments Simplification programme Command & Control project team, specifically focused on MI production and analysis.
Core duties of the role:
The successful candidate will support the development and production of business critical Customer Transaction dashboards, reports and MI. The job holder will support the Project Manager and the MI team in delivering quality analysis and insight to senior management and divisional teams.
The role includes having responsibility for developing the current access database in house system and activity trackers, and building and delivering further advanced reports. Also interrogation of internal bank systems & engagement with Group Datawarehouse to derive data (training will be provided on internal systems were required).
Core skills and experience required:
Maintenance of existing and new activity trackers/reports/MI
Maintenance and delivery of all regular reports to stakeholders
Daily run of queries to cross check and confirm data accuracy across systems
Evidence of good stakeholder management & attention to detail
Advanced Excel Essential
Access skills Essential
Desirable Skills
Payments experience within any bank would be of benefit
Ability to lead a team of MI analysts when required desirable
