Description
Our client is working to build an industrial automation solution to be used by various customers.
Responsibilities will include helping to develop and code a standard architecture that will consolidate various factory floor automation tools and interfaces, analyze data from them, and help make efficiency and preventative maintenance decisions based on that data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 years related work experience
- Software development of complex systems
- Extensive C, C++, Java and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in code design, implementation, and debug
- Linux experience mandatory
- Eclipse IDE experience required
- Experience using Real Time operating systems required
- Experience developing, supporting, installing factory floor automation tools and monitoring capabilities
- Experience working with SCADA
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Stakeholder management/influencing
- Linux Kernel/driver development
- Experience using enterprise service busses to implement distributed SOA systems
- Experience programming, controlling, and monitoring robotic systems
- Platform manageability - developing software and systems that can be remotely managed
