Our client is the world leader in computer components seeking seasoned Software Test Automation Engineer for a contract opportunity.

OVERVIEW:

  • Review requirements, specifications, SDK, user interface documentations and other project documentation
  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests using the selected tools
  • Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test suites
  • Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, drivers and other development test objects
  • Work with the development team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification ("smoke") test
  • Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks and log defects in the defect tracking system
  • Communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats
  • Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality risk analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in C#, Java, HTML, C/C++
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality assurance
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Black Box and White Box test automation
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in testing 802.11x wireless
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in testing mobile devices software
  • Solid understanding of Scrum Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Experience in objective C, Adobe Flash, Rubidium and/or Monkeyrunner a plus
