The Background:
To tackle a sudden increase in workload, a specialist engineering firm based in Leicester requires a Mechanical Design Engineer for an initial period of 6 months.
The Role:
With nearly half a century of experience in specialist engineering within the medium to heavy engineering sectors, you'll be joining an expert team of engineers with an impressive portfolio of clients. Liaising with the Project Manager, you'll be part of a team responsible for the design of Special Purpose Machinery.
You:
With a good all round Mechanical background you'll be fluent in SolidWorks and have experience of 3D modelling for bespoke machinery or mechanical handling systems. You'll also ideally have experience in the completion of Hand Calculations, with any exposure to FEA packages such as ANSYS also highly desirable.
