Within the Twinscan Factory the complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The department Install is responsible for the installation of systems in accordance with strict quality norms.

Job Mission

The holder of this position reports to the Team leader System Install Engineering (SIE).

Job Description

Introduce, produce and deliver leading edge lithographic systems, related products and services in a continuously changing market, on time, against competitive cost, with quality exceeding customers' expectation.

Education

Equipment and process ownership from build up to and including customer acceptance. Operate in a most cost efficient way from build up to and including customer acceptance. Integrate and coordinate test and integration activities within the work area, both at and in the field. Understand, influence and support good teamwork by the search for solutions and ideas within the test and build up areas. Represent at the customer's site in a professional way. Manufacture and deliver high level, complex systems according to the established procedures for complete functionalities of the products and for various product families. Install equipment (complete functionalities and various families) at customer locations, including equipment with new features, unload components, inspect for damage, assemble, align and test. Analyze applicability, accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Evaluate and diagnose problems and make appropriate repairs. Recommend design changes or substitution of materials when appropriate. Work with co-workers (subcontractors, agents) , customer & local field support in isolating and solving problems. Optimize equipment where applicable. Produce products in accordance with established specifications. Observe and report about regular and/or on-going problems that occur in the construction of products or their operation. Give support to the solution of these problems. Contribute to the improvement of products and processes. Work in accordance with Technical Product Documentation (TPD) and ensure the TPD is complete. Discuss any changes with the Production Technician. Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner. Advise users of appropriate actions to correct malfunctions and may recommend changes in user procedures. Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes, modifications, sub-modules and complete systems. Use this knowledge to aid effective and efficient production and provide sufficient diagnostic knowledge to solve problems as they occur and achieve the correct results. Follow colleague's training processes. Provide if appropriate support and assistance to less experienced or local personnel as necessary. Transfer technical knowledge of new and existing products to Local CS organization. Actively contribute to the pilot production process and the transition to volume production. Be responsible for the development and improvement of TPD, processes and records and other relevant topics. Observe and report about anticipated problems that may affect production and qualification capabilities Coordinate the activities given in the production and Installation plan and monitor the practical situation. Closely control the use of tools, materials and equipment. Perform administrative and coordination duties including field service reports, pass-downs, system problem reports. Prepare written technical reports if required.

Experience

HBO in an engineering field or equivalent experience, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, relevant software and related.

Other Information

Should expect to spend more than 50% of the time inside the clean room working with mechanical and electrical equipment. The manager, supervisor/team leader set technical direction. Should expect to travel 50% of the time to customers world wide. Thereby all candidates will be classified by level. This classification is correlated with the experience within de position of SIE. Candidates for level 1 and 2 work in shifts within the support schedule. This means 38.25 hours per week. Candidate will receive 25.1% shift allowance. Candidate works in early and late shift on weekday's and will work once every two weekends in day shift. Candidates for level 3 and 4 work in Veldhoven in day shift. However employees will travel more often than in the past.
