The purpose of this role is to provide scientific, technical, and analytical expertise to support analytical activities within our clients Operational Analysis Department.
The successful applicant will be involved in tasks analysing Air Traffic Management related data such as measuring the performance of airspace operations, and applying objective analyses of historical data using statistical analysis and operational research techniques to support airspace development, safety analysis and technical and training strategies.
The role requires as a minimum the following:
- A good honours degree in a numerate subject or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Access
- Knowledge and experience in VBA and ideally C#
- General knowledge of Air Traffic Management operations
- Knowledge and experience of solving optimisation problems
- Keen attention to detail and a thorough approach to all tasks
- Good team working skills
- The ability to consistently deliver analytical tasks within time and budget constraints
- The ability to anticipate and resolve technical problems and identify innovative solutions
