Our client is a leading developer of Set top boxes, Modems and other Internet gateway equipment.
For one of their projects (Distributed Management as a Service ), they are looking for a Cloud Database developer.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be part of a new Proof of concept project of Distributed Management As a Service.
Profile:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related
discipline (Masters preferred)
Experience:
- General Enterprise and cloud technologies;
- Public/Private cloud IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, cfr. Amazon EC2, Rackspace, etc
platforms
- Database technologies: Bigtable (Hadoop), InMemory DB, Cassandra
- Application platforms, OSGI, Spring, Ruby on Rails
- Webservices Technolgies: REST, Websockets
- MQTT, AMQP, XMPP, DDS
- Overall profile needs to be a senior developer
Technical & communication skills:
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, detail oriented, and ability to work
under pressure and short timelines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
- Dynamic, start-up, and disruptive environment experience preferred.
This is a Proof of Concept project in which the participants are required to be proactive as no specific Requirements are available as yet. It is aimed at the next generation Cloud based technology.
