Quality Manager Audit PMO - Risk Change Management - Investment Bank

Quality management within Project Management Office & Associated Project Delivery experience. CMMI Prince2 PMP Full project life cycle Experience supporting & leading in the development of the common project management processes (such as Dependencies, Issues & Risks & Change Management) & in supporting steering committee decision-making by providing good management information. and has experience in helping PMs through audits by managing and co-ordinating them for the dept. A strong character & be capable of directing project managers & others. Proven ability working in disparately located teams on large scale Change/Transformation programs. Structured (& practical) - analytical approach with an ability to create clarity out of ambiguity. Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.

Desirables;

Good knowledge (2-3 years) of the banking industry, preferably investment banking. Experience of working on a global program with stakeholders based across different time zones & cultures. Knowledge of formal project & program management methods. Formal business analysis & project management qualifications & experience (CMMi, PMP, Prince 2, Managing. Successful Programs).

Role

This role is for a Reporting & Quality Manager & someone who is also able to assist with managing projects. This PMO Reporting & quality manager will work on IT programs of work, assisting with all reporting requirements & acting as Quality Manager for all allocated projects. There will also be the necessity to fill junior project management requirements. The ability to span multiple projects spanning several departments & with many stakeholders is essential as is the ability to manage or work closely with a senior project manager. The PMO reporting & Quality manager must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment & have the ability to drive results through others whilst maintaining a collaborative environment.

The successful PMO reporting & Quality manager will have specific responsibility for:
All audit & quality management requirements across the IT programs of work & Efficiency Management sub-baskets. Managing the monthly delivery status reporting cycle across all sub-baskets. Providing close support to the a designated Project Manager. The PMO reporting & Quality manager will be highly motivated, organised with excellent communication skill & the ability to work within a diverse team.

Specific responsibilities include:
Collecting & reviewing weekly/monthly work stream status reports. Assisting in the development of executive level materials & presentations. Managing the status reporting process, working with the projects to improve overall content quality through coaching & quality checking. Managing all project audit requirements - liaising with PMs to ensure that all documentation is complete & responsible for co-ordination & management of all reviews. Ability to consolidate various sources of data into consumable management reporting. Assisting senior PM with project management requirements: project planning, governance, defect tracking, testing requirements, reporting.
