TITLE: SAP Basis Administrator
TYPE: 2+ month contract
L OCATION: Atlanta, GA
The SAP Basis system administrator finalizes post installation steps and configures ABAP, Java stacks as well BO and ESO.
The SAP Basis Administrator's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Include new systems into the SLD's, into the LMDB, CHaRM, CUA, GRC; RFC and ALE models
- Schedule transports and release emergency transport in cooperation with the hosting provided and the development team
- Configure, manage, and monitor TMS, export and import transports
- Maintain the systems health and monitor system performance and logs
- Perform SAP printer and spool administration
- Create, manage and monitor the scheduling of SAP batch jobs
- Ability to explain technically complex solutions in simple terms
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, both independently and as a team member
- Possess good problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 6+ years related experience is required
- Expert communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a Global organization is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of daily operations within the SAP Data Center.
- System Administrator knowledge in SAP is required.
