Citrix Application Administrator
Our Client is seeking an Application Administrator to implement, integrate, and maintain various application environments. Consultant can work from either Denver CO, Hightstown NJ, or New York NY offices.
Responsibilities:
- Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop administration and support
- Administer user rights and machine group membership requests for Eminentware/WSUS environment. Troubleshoot WSUS client issues.
- Deploy and maintain WordPress blogs and MediaWiki sites with LDAP authentication
- Maintain WebTrends v9 On-premises environment.
- Work with registrar to register, transfer, and acquire domain names as requested
- Approve requests and troubleshoot issues with SSL certs on Symantec MPKI
Requirements:
- Experience managing projects in medium to large size companies with at least 5,000 users from beginning to end.
- Bachelor of Science degree
- A minimum of 5 years of enterprise experience with Microsoft Server platforms
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support role in an information technology related groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software for one or more products
- Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity
- Demonstrated experience with the following:
- SharePoint OR Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 6.x administration
- Powershell Scripting
- Perl Scripting
- OpenSSL key based authentication
- IIS administration
- Apache administration on Linux (RHEL 4)
- Maintaining and administering Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition
- Understanding of LDAP authentication
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- Ability to troubleshoot Windows
- Strong familiarity with DNS and TCP/IP Networking.
Pluses:
- Administration of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, including understanding the core and advanced functionalities of the Citrix XenApp server.
