Description
Our client is a hugely popular computer hardware corporation seeking an Engineer to provide QA testing of the Application Validation System, writing test plans and executing for new user stories.
OVERVIEW:
- Write test plans based on user stories
- Execute test plans
- Investigate automated testing tools and write requirements for implementation
- Understand Agile Processes and work in an Agile development environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience writing test cases with strong attention to detail
- Black Box and White Box testing
- Experience with creating and executing test cases
- Test automation using Selenium or QTP or Watir
- Testing experience in Windows and Linux environments
- Database concepts and experience with basic SQL queries
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of automated testing (QA) systems
- Linux Admin/Shell Scripts
- Development or deployment experience with LAMP Stack
- Python
- C#
- Experience with virtualization and virtual environments
- Networking experience
- Experience in Application and Infrastructure Security domains
