The client is a large power industry supplier situated at Merekbeke near to Ghent in Belguim. The requirement is for an experienced Infrastructure Network designer for their support organisation. This service looks after among other things the designs and construction activities in projects or maintenance framework and this often in association with external service suppliers. For support for the component network (Lan/man/Wan/DMZ/Telefonie). The candidate will develop the design, leaving from a logical design and functional needs, established by the service architecture. and ensure a qualitative finishing of this with the service Testing & Quality and ensures the transition to the production. After in production interview you look after life support, as well as 3rd line support and take part, exceptional you to problem-meetings. Requires:- Very thorough knowledge on area of IPTEL, DMZ, WAN, LAN, WLAN, IPv6, plus knowledge of the network market (suppliers and service providers) Knowledge of service models and ITIL processes in multi sourcing construction. Ten year experience in similar surroundings. A vast experience in complex infrastructure projects. Experience with the supervision of outsourcing suppliers. Needs to work independently and within the organisation
