Description
For our customer we are looking for a SAP Integration Architect who will join the group Integration Competence Centre in Company IT. The position will provide technical design, development, implementation and support for Company global SAP systems utilizing SAP PI as the integration platform. This position will be part of a highly skilled and senior development team that supports not only SAP PI, but also other integration tools, WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere MQ. This position offers a challenging work environment as we have a multi-year project underway with heavy SAP PI dependencies and will be looking to upgrade our SAP PI system in the next year or two.
Job description:
The main tasks of the Integration Architect will be:
be responsible for coordination of application integration service provided to SAP projects
ensure that architecture and integration development service is provided according to Company IT standards and best practicies
be in charge for cooperation with 3rd parties involved in the integration architecture and integration development proces
Design, (develop, support) and document interfaces for all relevant SAP and non-SAP systems
Interact with functional analysts to clearly understand business processes and development requirements
Develop roadmaps for future SAP PI 7.1 enhancements, upgrades and performance tuning
Understand the system landscape and all SAP PI interfaces/services
Develop, maintain and enforce data and message management standards and procedures
Required skills:
participation in the large or medium size SAP projects as a SAP NetWeaver PI architect/developer
2+ years experience in Technical Architecture foundation for SAP and SAP NetWeaver with EAI and SOA concepts
5+ years experience in SAP PI and ABAP/Java development for SAP
extensive knowledge of core SAP functionality covering the variety of SAP products: core ECC, CRM, SCM, MDM
