Description
Responsible for supporting the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) management program within the Acquisition Management Section of a large government agency. Must be familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and have a minimum of one (1) year experience in working with government contracts or acting as a buyer and have exposure to the functions of COTRs. A successful candidate will be trained in the agency's unique financial management system, however, prior experience with existing financial systems (such as PRISM) and prior experience as a COTR are a plus. The candidate must be a self-starter and have good communications skills. They also must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.) A Juris Doctorate degree and State Bard admission(s) is highly desired. The ability to interact with co-workers and clients face to face and in meeting settings is required.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree, but a Juris Doctorate degree is highly desired.
