Years of Experience + Expertise Level:

Senior .NET application developer/Software Engineer with extensive experience developing complex UI applications in WPF and/or Silverlight. Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent and minimum of 6 years of development experience using the above technologies. Extensive experience with graphical user interface (GUI) development and User Experience (UX) design. Demonstrated extensive experience in MS .NET application design and development. Demonstrated extensive experience with MS Visual Studio (2005, 2008, 2010) and C# programming and using debugging tools Demonstrated experience with SQL and DB application interfaces (ADO.NET, ODBC)

Project Description:

DECIMA will be a central, automated tool for DPM (Defects per Million) reporting and analysis.

The tool will perform the following main functions:
1. Configuration: DPM methodology flows. Product Sampling Groups, DPM buckets
2. Calculation: final bin, DPM bucket, various DPMs
3. Reporting: configuring and generating DPM reports The DPM tracking process is manual, time consuming and prone to errors and inconsistencies across VF sites products.

DECIMA will provide the following benefits
1. ATM Standardization of processes across all products/factories & free up engineering resources for tech readiness.
2. Decreased PPV-S Sampling, enable Smart PPV like initiatives.
3. Enable better turnaround Sort excursion optimization, provide accurate, timely feedback for process improvements
4. Better optimization of Class coverage requirements, test times and capacity forecasts.

Daily Responsibilities:
Application design, coding and development. Writing PRD (product requirements and specifications), test plans/test cases. Execute functional, integration and volume test cases and record results. Assist technical lead in architecture definition and technology selections. Participate in customers mtgs. during requirements and design phases. Provide accurate estimates of work to PM/Tech Lead.

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Experience with graphical user interface (GUI) development and User Experience (UX) design in WPF, C# and Expression Blend. MS Visual Studio 2008, 2010. WCF, Oracle SQL and ADO.NET.

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Design and Development experience with end-to-end reporting framework (Sharpshooter, telerik or SSRS). Background in Assembly/Test and Manufacturing data systems is a BIG plus.
